Perpetual Thursday Ramblings, Rantings, Nonsense, and Bunk
Music and Toner
Saturday, October 01, 2005
Afternoon' readers, surfers, stumblers, bloggers, people with something beetert to do, and people in cheap sunglasses.
For those of you who didn't get that last remark, I'm listening to music. ZZ Top was on when I wrtoe that, but now I've got
Deodato's version of
Pavane for a Dead Princess on. Now, unlike some people, I don't just listen to music, I use it as a backround for a task. My current project is printing
St. Cecilia's bulletins for tommrow. Of course, we're almost out of toner... So 'printing' means 'shaking the toner cartridge so it'll last longer.' We're not penny pinching with it. We just don't have any more toner. Nor do I have time to go get some. (Now I'm listening to
The Steward of Gondor from
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, featuring Billy Boyd, in case you wanted to know.)
I hate toner. I like the Monty Python 'Cheese Shop' skit. It helps relive my toner worries.
Hmmm... I really don't have much to say right now... Just music.
I'm currently browsing
Rhapsody's (
Real's music collection) archives. I've got a rather long, strange playlist... At the moment I haver parts of Bach's Mass playing. Seconds ago I was listening to Moby, who I've decided I rather like.
We are Made of Stars, is very diffrent, and refreshing. I've also been listinening to
Appaling and Ridiculous by the odd group,
The Bison Chips. Who? Exactly. The entire CD is of songs by other groups (such as Brandy, Africa, Walking in Memphis, Love the One You're With) redone completely in vocals. No instruments; vocalists sing the instumental parts. It's interesting for the first 2 songs... Then you begin to realize why it has that name. I'm a little dissapointed with
Rhapsody's Led Zepplin and Al Stewart collections. They are a little, lacking. They have plenty of the Hollies (though no 'Jesus was a Cross Maker'), Three Dog Night, and The Who to make up for that.
Anywho, that's all for now. I'm finaly done with those bulletins.
Until I have something to say, or blabber to blab,
May all your Thursdays be Perpetual...

I am having a hard time commenting at nothing. Are my posts like that? I honestly envy you. I thought I was the Mistress of Writing Long Nothings, but I am rethinking that you might be the Master of Writing Long Nothings and I stink at it. Go buy some toner this week.
...a girl with skin as white as snow...and...okay, don't get bent out of shape, I'm just irritating you.
