Perpetual Thursday Ramblings, Rantings, Nonsense, and Bunk

BoN - October 2006
Tuesday, October 31, 2006

Well, here rolls the last day of October, so its about time I get out my October Blogs of Note (BoN). I'll kick it off with methodshop.com, a tech/gadget blog that I've been reading for a while now. Sure, there are plenty of tech/gadget blogs to go around, but I'd rather fond of methodshop because of the smart-aleck attitude, sense of humor, and the fact that they only tend to post when they've got something really interesting. If you like gadgets, you'll get a kick out of methodshop. Plus, they've got tons of useful little tutorials on things such as 'downloading videos off of YouTube.'

Second blog in my list is Fidelity to the Word. Being a skimmer rather often, I don't always read the full posts in this blog, but when I do, I'm glad I took the time. A wonderful Traditional Catholic blog, Fidelity to the Word has commentary on Catholic issues, notes on feast days, prayers, and other similar content. Fidelity to the Word is an all-around worth reading Catholic blog.

Another Catholic blog worth a read is the Cornell Society for a Good Time. Named after "a childhood group of St. John Bosco," the Cornell Society featured Catholic news and commentary mixed in with humor and bits of 'just-for-fun' stuff. The delightful commentary (Try: "I attended the sappy, irreverent, obnoxiously feel-good Novus Mass up the street this morning, and it started a train of thought that might in a perverse way be called hopeful.") of the Cornell Society is a blast to read, making for a fun blog all-round'.

The final blog I'd like to make note of is Tasha's Journal. Since I've started blogging, I've had several friends and family members start blogging themselves, such as Grant, Emily, Quezon, and my Mother. 'Tasha' is the latest in the list - my Aunt Nancy. Though she's only posted twice, she's posted, so I wanted to mention her blog.

Those are my blogs for October, and that'll plenty of reading for you to deal with already, right? In other words - this post if done, and I'll have more later. Until then, may all your Thursdays be Perpetual...

I pop in at the Cornell Society's blog every so often, and I agree with you. Good read.

If you would READ all the sweet comments I leave for you because I love you, a feeling which you do not reciprocate, you would see that I do read your blog, and thus be spared the necessity of asking me.

You asked for this. I am going to give you comments in the double digits. I hope you die when you see it.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:37 AM

I check your blog EVERY DAY for updates.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:38 AM

Then you see me and accuse me of not reading it!
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:38 AM

I really should start hating you.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:38 AM

I bet you NEVER EVER read my blog.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:38 AM

I'm trying to think of something noteworthy to say....

I like your haircut muchly.

I saw a guy hit a deer today. No kidding. On 101 between Penntown and the bridge over 74.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:40 AM

The deer didn't die.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:41 AM

I almost hit a deer myself tonight. But I didn't.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:41 AM

I thought about hitting you when I was behind you on the way home from Mass (that was me), but I didn't want to hurt your Mum and Chris.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:42 AM

Oh, wait, I forgot. I guess I didn't want to hit you!
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:42 AM

You are nice because you give out Smarties.
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:43 AM

I hope you flip when you see all these comments!
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:43 AM

I dare you to try it on me. *neener* :P
Posted by Anonymous Anonymous at 12:43 AM
