Whose Boots Should the Hangman Earn?
Monday, November 13, 2006
On Sunday, November 5th, former dictator of Iraq Saddam Hussein was sentenced to hang for "crimes against humanity."
That's probably not new news to you, so I won't dwell on details, and instead will jump to my point: Saddam Hussein isn't the person they should be hanging. I'm not necessarily saying that anyone should be going to the gallows, but I am saying that if someone is going to be hung, he shouldn't be the first choice.
Saddam's was convicted of the killings of
1982 killings of 148 Shiites in the city of Dujail. 148 people.
Wow, that's pretty bad, huh? You might even say it's a 'crime against humanity'.
But what if there was someone responsible for the killings of millions of people?
Try Gloria Feldt, former president of Planned Parenthood, or Cecile Richards, the current president.
How about lawyers Linda Coffee and Sarah Weddington, who were behind the infamous Roe v.s. Wade trial that opened the doors for the the millions of abortions now committed in the United States?
Maybe even good ol' George Bush. After all, he's run the USA for almost 6 years now, and done next to nothing to stop these killings. (Sure, he signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act, but that's not really enough, as babies are still being killed, just in a different way.)
It may not be direct support, but tons of people are responsible for neglecting to do anything about it.
Planned Parenthood & American Leaders
Millions upon millions dead.
Saddam Hussein
148 dead.
Who do you think should be at the gallows?
