Perpetual Thursday Ramblings, Rantings, Nonsense, and Bunk
Father "X"
Monday, March 27, 2006
Recently I was loaned, by my good friend Emily, a series of CDs to copy containing sermons by an unnamed priest who is apparently a very good homilist. So far I've listened to two of his homilies and must admit, they are quite good. (Not as good, in my opinion, as our own fantastic Fr. Saguto, parish priest of St. Cecilia and Philomena, but still
very good.)
This unnamed priest, at the request of his parishoners, has given his permission to spread these homilies by any means, provided that it isn't for profit. Thus, the CDs are ment to be passed around and copied so that everyone everywhere can hear his homlies.
While making the copies, I had an idea.
Why not, said I,
put these homlies on my website? That way, everyone everywhere would have easy access to them. I'd get a little free populatiry for my site, the homlies would get spread, and hopefully more souls will be saved from the eternal fires of Hell. What a fantastic idea! And so it came to pass that I set up
The Father "X" Sermons webpage.
Go there, check it out, and enrich your soul.
Oh, and less importantly, notice the nice page which might be some of my best web design work yet.

You may as well have just said, "Hey Everyone! I designed the coolest web page ever! Oh, by the way,it's Catholic."

My dearest Emily, you forget who I am: an egotistical manaic.
You're right, though, that I will admit.
